Heating prices will rise in Riga.
From December 1, the heat tariff will increase by 19%, said Ivo Valdovskis, head of the strategic communication department at Rīgaz Heat.
Now the cost of heating is 80.96 euros per megawatt-hour, and after the price increase it will rise to 96.33 euros per megawatt-hour.
Rīgas siltums has already submitted a draft document with a new tariff for consideration by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PSRC).
