Citizens of Latvia and Poland were arrested in the Kalingrad region for illegally crossing the state border of the Russian Federation, the regional border management of the FSB of the Russian Federation reported. A Latvian citizen crossed the Russian-Lithuanian border via a railway bridge over the border river Neiman, and a Polish citizen crossed the Kronian Spit. Criminal cases were initiated against the detainees under Article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
