Wild Horses in Jalgava The Polish Conic is a semi-wild horse breed, often kept in nature reserves due to its resemblance and possible relationship to the extinct wild terpene horse. In the summer of 2007, 16 Polish conic were brought to Pils Island in Jalgava to maintain the ecosystem of the floodplains of the Lilupa River.
