The court will hear Golomazov's claim against the theater tomorrow. Chekhov director Sergei Golomazov sued the Chekhov Theater in Riga, from which he was fired. The theater stated that Golomazov's status in Israel had changed. As a result, the employment contract lost the validity of the law. To sign a new one, he is required to obtain a certificate confirming knowledge of the Latvian language at a high level (C1), which Golomazov does not have. Golomazov himself claims that the reason for his dismissal is that he criticized the director of the theater Dana Bjork. Golomazov decided to sue. He filed a lawsuit demanding to declare the suspension from work as unfounded and waste, establish a case of bossiness against him in the workplace and pay him his average salary. The hearing will be held tomorrow, October 27, at the court in the city of Riga.
