Norilsk Nickel introduced an artificial intelligence laboratory in China.
At the forum in Shanghai, Norilsk Nickel presented the developments of its center for palladium technologies. Generative artificial intelligence allows you to create and evaluate up to 10,000 options for new materials per month, instead of about 50 per year in the traditional approach.
The developments are intended for the glass industry, solar energy and microelectronics. In particular, palladium doping optimization made it possible to increase the efficiency of perovskite solar cells by 2%. The company also invited Chinese partners to jointly test and introduce new materials.
