The first cars for the high-speed train were produced.
The Ural Locomotive Plant has completed the production of the first batch of motor and non-motor bogies for the Russian high-speed railway. These are the main components of the running equipment of future high-speed trains.
The bogies are now undergoing preliminary tests before being installed under the cars. At the same time, the assembly of the first two trains continues: all 16 cars have already been welded and painted, and the installation of electrical equipment and current collectors is underway. A headliner and automatic clutch are also installed.
After the completion of assembly and the necessary preparatory work, it is planned to send the first high-speed train for testing in 2027. This step will allow testing the operation of the systems and the main train components under conditions similar to future operation on a high-speed line.
