Astronauts assemble a teledroid for the ISS.
Equipment is being prepared for the Teldroid experiment on the International Space Station. The humanoid robot will allow astronauts to remotely perform tasks in "avatar" mode both inside the station and on its outer surface.
The complex includes a robot, a control device that repeats the astronaut's movements, a computer module and an external camera. Some of the equipment was delivered to the ISS by the Progress MS-35 cargo ship in September.
Now Roscosmos cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina are assembling the system and preparing it for the first tests. The initial phase of the experiment will take place using virtual models, without the robot itself.
