Sollers Group will organize the production of 8 speed automatic transmissions at the "Sollers Alabuga" engine plant. The total investment in the project will amount to approximately 500 million rubles, of which 395 million will be provided by the Industrial Development Fund in the form of a preferential loan. The project provides the allocation of crankcase production, assembly and testing of transmissions. The eclipse and labyrinth of parts will be built at the Roselite plant in the Volga region, and the final assembly will be organized in Alabga. The planned capacity of the organization is up to 13.7 thousand gears per year. Air production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027. The new automatic transmissions will get Sollers S9 SUVs, ST8 and ST9 pickups, as well as SF1 light commercial vehicles. In the future it is possible to install transmissions in the SF5 model.
