Katyusha Launches Production of Russian Toner Cartridges The Katyusha Group of Companies has begun producing toner cartridges for its printers and multifunction devices at its production site in the Leningrad region. According to the company, cartridges with a similar level of localization have not been produced in Russia before. The project provides an additional increase in the share of household components. For production, we developed an electronic cartridge control module, software and plastic parts that require separate molds. In the years 2026-2027, it is planned to produce at least 200 thousand cartridges, and by 2028 to increase the production volume to 500 thousand per year. After reaching design capacity, production must completely replace imported consumables. In the past, Katyusha also started using Russian motherboards on domestic PCB and launched the production of high-voltage boards and power boards together with NPO Digital Television Systems, part of the GS group.
