Anapa airport is ready to resume its operations if the authorities allow the airport to open. Alexey Starostin, CEO of the Aerodynamics Factory, spoke about this in an interview with an expert magazine. He did not give specific opening dates. The airport has not received flights since February 2022. During this period, the international terminal was renovated in it. The works affected the waiting and registration halls, the arrival and departure areas as well as equipment. After the modernization, the terminal's capacity almost tripled - to 160 passengers per hour. The Ministry of Transportation reported this back in 2023.
