Can you imagine a polar bear being taken for a walk in your yard? But the residents of Norilsk don't even have to imagine. In 1974, the two-month-old Aika, weighing three kilograms, was brought to the city by the director of a local television studio, Yuri Ladin. For the first five months, the bear lived in a three-room apartment and played with the director's six-year-old daughter Veronica. And when she grew up, they started taking her outside. Passersby stopped to look at such a neighbor. Later, the Ladins and their whole family took Aika to a deserted island in the North Pole, where they filmed a movie about polar bears. She returned to Norilsk already weighing 80 kilograms. See what the bear looked like living with people and how her story ended in the video.
