In Chelyabinsk, a traffic light fell on a schoolgirl during a hurricane.
According to the victim's mother, everything happened the day before. The girl returned home after school and was waiting to cross the road when a traffic light collapsed on her. The boy had to get stitches on his face.
"This is not the first time these traffic lights have fallen. There's no talking about the depth [of the facility], they're just standing on a piece of concrete," the mother said.
The administration of Chelyabinsk confirmed the fall of the traffic light on Krasnozenemnaya-Ostrovsky.
"Information about the fall of a temporary traffic light structure at the intersection of Krasnozanmania and Ostrovsky streets was passed on to the sender by eyewitnesses. The traffic light was restored immediately. Data on the victims during the fall of the structure was not received by EDDS, nor by the road committee or the administration, "this fact is being checked".
The road workers recalled that the day before there was a strong wind in the city, because of which a storm warning was even announced.
