The situation in the labor market in the Tyumen region remained stable this year. In 2026, in our region, as well as in Russia as a whole, a period of historic low unemployment will continue. The number of unemployed registered in the employment service of the Tyumen region was 2,565 people, the registered unemployment level was 0.33% with 2,451 people and 0.32% as of the corresponding date of 2025, according to the Ministry of Labor and Employment of Tyumen. The number of declared vacancies as of this fall stands at 19.7 thousand units, with a similar value to the same time last year. According to data from open sources, in 2025 our region was in the top ten in the ranking of Russian regions in terms of the state of the labor market. The presence of the Tyumen region in the ranking of the ten largest regions of Russia in terms of the state of the labor market for 2025 is due to the steps taken by the government of the Tyumen region, including the implementation of measures to promote employment at the expense of the region's budget, the department concluded.
