The diagnosis of drug addiction in the Tyumen region began to be made less frequently. In 2024, doctors officially registered 2,542 people using various prohibited substances, and a year later - 2,480. Most of them were men and women aged 18 to 34 years. During the year, 321 people were admitted to medical organizations in the region with a diagnosis of drug poisoning, most of them living in Tyumen, Tyumen region (district) and Tobolsk, the relevant department reported. For this reason there were 141 deaths, of which 11 were women and 131 were men aged 30-50. It is worth noting that according to the official statistics there are no children and teenagers among drug addicts in our city and in our region, but not so long ago such cases were noted (individual cases).
