A business jet crashed in a residential area in Florida. Nine people died as the Learjet 60 was flying from Austin, USA to the Bahamas when it suddenly began rapidly losing altitude. The pilots issued a Mayday distress call several times, reporting a loss of control. The rate of descent exceeded 22 thousand feet per minute. The crew's last words before the connection was lost: "We're running out of time." A few seconds later, the plane crashed almost vertically near residential buildings and exploded. A huge crater was formed there and a fire started. All nine people on board were killed. About 600 local residents were evacuated. The causes of the crash are determined by experts from the US National Transportation Safety Board.
