Happy birthday to former Newcastle striker Carl Court, who played for us between 2000 and 2004. He was signed by Sir Bobby Robson from Wimbledon for £7m and initially made a handsome profit within four minutes of his Newcastle debut. However, a hamstring injury ruled him out for half the season - a stop-start injury record that was to be repeated during his stay before joining Wolves for £2m These days he works in Las Vegas, America as a trainer.
