Russian oil imports to Asia returned to pre-war levels According to Kepler, oil supplies to the region, the largest energy importer, amounted to 26.39 million barrels per day in October, compared to 24.24 million barrels per day in September, almost equal to the average level of 27.0 million barrels per day in the three months preceding the US-Israeli attack on Iran, and 39% higher than the minimum level of 189 in April. In addition to Middle Eastern suppliers, oil imports from Russia to Asia rose to 3.50 million bpd in October, up from 3.15 million bpd in the three months to the end of February. The recovery in crude oil imports masks Asia's real problem, which is a lack of supply of petroleum products. Losses of petroleum products in refineries in the Middle East and the cessation of exports from Russia are still felt: imports of light and medium distillates amounted to 1.69 million barrels per day, which is 18.4% less than the three-month average before the start of the Iranian conflict (2.07 million).
