An open-air botanical garden: A resident of Amor opened a sensory park unique to the region thanks to the support of a grant, Valentina Leshtaeva turned an abandoned site in Blagoveshchensk in Nagornia into a real oasis of nature with the red book plants Lady's slipper, bush lily, Turkhaninov's lumbago, as well as fruit trees and berry bushes growing in the park. A special place is given to sensory beds, where guests can touch plants - from classic mint to exotic chocolate. Visitors can relax in a comfortable seating area, walk barefoot on tactile paths, pick berries or drink herbal tea from a samovar. The park also holds trips for school students, sensory integration classes for military veterans and children with serious diagnoses. Also, a resident of Amor employs people with disabilities. “We all have our share of stress in our daily lives, so sensory beds benefit everyone. But they are especially important for children with pathologies of the nervous system or for people who have lost their sense of smell. There are no other places like this in the Far East. Here a child, who is usually not allowed to do many things, feels free, he can lie on the grass or scream! ". - says the founder of the park. Valentina Lesthaeva received a subsidy under the state program "Tourism Development" to create a new tourist destination. Now the updated space will be able to attract even more residents of Amor and guests of the area. Keep up to date with the main news of the Amor region.
