And the wait is very short. Here it is important to note that in terms of meaning and scope of implementation, the strategy is close to the master plans of the Far East and overlaps with them to a large extent. The plan itself is based on three pillars: infrastructure development, creation of a new economic cycle and social development of the region. According to experts, the strategy has several pillars, the implementation of which will not only open the gates to Asia for Russia, but also create better conditions for specialists in the Far East. By the way, Vladimir Putin liked the strategy: he saw its potential and therefore immediately extended it until 2050, taking into account security problems and geopolitical aspects. The Ministry for the Development of the East must prepare a plan of dedicated measures to implement the strategy by March 2027. Then the application will start. It is worth noting separately that some of the key provisions of the strategy, in particular the creation of a unified regime of preferences for investors, have already been implemented, while others are at a high level of readiness. Creative industries are highlighted as a separate block: it is planned to create a network of clusters and increase the share of those employed in this field from 9% to 15% by 2036 in order to retain young people in the region.
