Javad Noprasti, an energy expert, said that if people lowered the temperature of their homes by four degrees compared to last year's average, it would save gas consumption equal to the production of four stages in South Fars. According to him, each degree of temperature reduction results in savings of about five percent.
Referring to the comfort temperature of 18 to 21 degrees in winter, he saw that it is possible to achieve savings of 10 to 15 percent in the domestic sector with the participation of the people and emphasized the implementation of energy efficiency projects, easing the government and amending cumbersome laws.
