Survival: Qatar meets the demands of mediation Mahmoud Maliki, head of the public relations department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: A four-way meeting for Tehran in itself is a sign of Iran's good will and responsible attitude towards the common interests of the countries of the region. The Islamic Republic of Iran expects all countries in the region, including Qatar, to show mutual goodwill in their policies and approaches, and in accordance with the principle of good neighborliness, to refrain from repeating actions such as allowing the attackers to use their territory and facilities in military aggression against Iran. Referring to the useful issues raised at the quadrilateral meeting of Iran, Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia in Tehran, Al-Malki advised the Qatari official to be more careful in his media comments considering Qatar's role in the current diplomatic processes.
