60% growth in imports from the northern borders/foreign trade has moved from the south to the north Muhammad Faiz, Vice President for Trade and Business Development of the General Administration of Smet Gilan in one RAS program: The latest 6-month statistics of the Gilan Customs show that in terms of dollar value, imports from the northern borders of the country have increased by 60%. Considering that most of our imports are carried out by sea and the port of Anzali, this figure confirms that Iran's foreign trade has largely moved from the southern ports to the northern borders. This success is the result of around-the-clock efforts of customs for clearance, port organization for unloading and transport department for quick delivery of goods to their destination.
