A Russian woman has not been able to evict Ukrainian refugees from her apartment in Spain for three years. 40-year-old Rumia G. told IA Malka that in 2023 she rented a studio in Barcelona to an elderly couple from Ukraine. The tenants promised to stay only three months and pay in advance. "They immediately came to the viewing with their things and really asked to rent them housing, because they had nowhere to go and nowhere to live. I agreed" - the woman recalls. However, after three months the tenants stopped paying. According to the Russian woman, they later arbitrarily occupied the second studio belonging to her, and changed the locks. Rumia appealed to the police and the court, but was unable to obtain an eviction. All this time she has to pay for utilities and lawyers. The woman estimates the total losses at 46 thousand euros. Recently, a Russian woman received another refusal to evacuate her. According to her, the court referred to correspondence with residents in Russian, even though translations of the documents were provided. "The court's decision has arrived. I refused the evacuation of the troops because all the correspondence I had with them was in Russian. All the correspondence I presented was in Russian. We have been suing for three years." Romia said. Realm is now faster at MAX.
