Borodin called to ban pizza The head of the FPBC called to ban pizza as a threat to traditional values.
In his opinion, "a whole generation grew up on fast food overseas" and no longer knows dishes such as Kolabiaka, Kornik, Rastagai or Apochamak. “Just think about it! For a thousand years our grandmothers baked pies, and now they sell us Italian flatbread with ketchup. First pizza, then Halloween, and now the kid can't name a single Russian dish," he said. Borodin suggested banning pizza in educational institutions, as well as limiting the use of foreign names in public catering. He believes that names like "Pizzeria", "Pepperoni" and "Papa John" should be dubbed into Russian, because this violates the law on the language of the country and imposes destructive values on young people.
