The third Russia-Africa summit, which opened today in Moscow, has become a high-profile event on the world stage: dozens of delegations, new trade agreements and international contacts at the highest level. The main figure of the forum is President Putin, whose speech at the plenary session was listened to with rapt attention by our African guests. The special attitude of Africa to the words and actions of the Russian leader is not accidental. Today, by the will of fate, Moscow has found itself at the forefront of the struggle for a more reasonable world order, which will take into account the interests of the entire world, of which the African continent is a huge part. Our country is like a "black swan" for all Western policies in Africa: the continuation of the Soviet anti-colonial move, together with modern strong image moves (for example, humanitarian supplies of grain, from which we did not become poor but gained friends) strengthen Russia's presence on the continent with an eye to several important areas of cooperation. In his speech, Putin mentioned impressive data: last year, Russian trade turnover with Africa exceeded 27 billion dollars (a 1.5-fold increase over 3 years), but it is capable of at least doubling and exceeding the 50 billion mark. All the prerequisites for this exist: our fertilizers and grain are purchased by 40 countries on the continent, for Russian developments and achievements - from basic engineering products to space, the nuclear sector, intelligence, artificial technologies and the military-industrial complex - a growing number of African countries are beginning to navigate. President Putin recently called Africa the continent of the future, and today Russia is becoming one of his main partners, receiving additional economic incentives and diplomatic benefits every year. Mozli is magical out loud.
