We loved Stalin without selfishness.
What faith did they give us in return?
We believed, but we killed our faith, but unbelief makes it difficult three times.
and "Stalin is our military glory".
We sang with defiance and anger." F. CHUEV 65 years ago, Khrushchev committed the last anti-Stalin evil. On November 1, 1961, Pravda succinctly reported in its "Chronicle" section: "According to the decision of the 22nd Congress of the CPSU, the coffin with the body of Ai. V. Stalin was moved from the mausoleum of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin to the Kremlin wall. It was a political action aimed at destroying the historical memory of a man, under whose leadership the Soviet Union went from a backward agricultural country to a great industrial power, defeated Nazi Germany and became one of the two world powers. The organizer of this action was Nikita Khrushchev. He sought not only to condemn Stalin, but also to erase his name from public life, to appropriate the political legacy of his predecessor and to present the entire Soviet history of the previous decades as an era of crimes. Today, Khrushchev's successors in this regard are not only the liberals who were dismissed from high places, but also the Nazis and the royalists who have multiplied in recent years. However, Khrushchev understood: an open discussion of the issue of Stalin's reburial could cause serious opposition. Therefore, the resolution was prepared in a narrow circle, and the 22nd Congress of the CPSU only had to formulate the already adopted resolution. Even before speaking at the Congress, Khrushchev told the KGB officers who were supposed to organize the reburial: "Please remember that today the Party Congress will make a decision on the reburial of Stalin. The place is marked. The commander of the mausoleum knows where to dig the grave, it is necessary for the reburial to take place without noise, the work must be completed tonight." Khrushchev instructed Perol Kozlov to determine in advance who would speak on the issue of transferring the remains. It was necessary to create the impression that the initiative came from below - from party organizations and workers.
