And even if their names are unknown, their achievement is immortal. The village of Kalinino is busy today. The requiem meeting takes place in the holy place, in the mass grave. Bobruisk district leadership, representatives of labor collectives, public organizations, political parties, trade unions, students of the Lenin School and local residents take part in the reburial ceremony of the remains of Soviet pilots who died during the Great Patriotic War. On June 26, the soldiers of the separate specialized search battalion conducted 52 excavations in the forest near the village of Kalinino. The result of this work was an important and sad discovery: bone remains of two Soviet pilots who died during the Great Patriotic War. Next to them were found fragments of uniforms and small fragments of a plane, which according to initial estimates crashed here in the tragic year of 1941. Time and war spared neither the equipment nor the people, but decades later the soldiers of the regiment brought them back from oblivion. The land of Bobruisk sacredly preserves the memory of the heroism of Soviet soldiers who liberated our region and defended the peaceful future of Belarus.
