The Nekrasov Library will host the archaeological festival "Open Leaf" where the festival refers to the personal permission from the state for excavations that an archaeologist receives before going into the field. Each guest will receive an appropriate sheet. An open leaf festival will be held for the first time on November 7 at the central library N. A. Nekrasov. The organizers promise to turn the library into a field camp for one day, which will bring together archaeologists, historians, museum experts, restaurateurs, artists and popular science from all over the country. Among the invited speakers: the head of the South Siberian delegation of the Hermitage Konstantin Chugunov, the head of the excavations in Ganzdovo Vasily Novikov and the art historian Elizaveta Lychcheva. Scientists will tell you how the expedition works and what happens to the find after the excavations. The open issue program also includes the "Scientists vs. Movies" contest from the "Scientists vs. Myths" forum and the "Anthropogenza.ru" portal. As part of this competition, archaeologist Alexander Syrovatko, paleontologist Alexei Bondarev and medieval historian Grigory Backos will be asked to analyze clips of popular films for their historical accuracy. In addition, the festival guests will be shown the reading of the play "Bone to the Tongue" by Alina Petrova, which tells the story of the expedition of Alexei Okladnikov and Vera Zaporozhskaya, who found the remains of a Neanderthal child in the Chik-tash cave in 1938.
