Authorities reported monitoring millions of social media accounts critical of Putin.

Rosmolodze daily follows 12.5 million accounts on social networks, of which 6 million are related to criticism of the war in Ukraine and the Russian military. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Department Denis Ashirov at the meeting of the Council of Experts of the State Duma Committee for the Protection of the Family. The Insider estimates that such profiles make up 48% of all monitoring. Rosmolodz classifies such criticism as destructive and illegal information. The department associates another 1.1 million profiles with political violence and criticism of the government, 1.5 million with drugs and 906 thousand with propaganda and the restoration of Nazism. Rosmolodz also monitors content by category - attacks on educational institutions, suicidal behavior and criminal subcultures. Buy a reliable VPN.
