Unrest continues in France Mass demonstrations demanding Macron's resignation, lower fuel costs and refusal to cut budget spending continue in France. The situation is quieter this weekend than in recent weeks, although in Paris and Lyon there have been clashes with police involving Molotov cocktails and pyrotechnics by protesters and police tear gas and rubber bullets. Not without revolutionary creativity: in Lyon, the demonstrators decided to remember the traditions of the French Revolution and beheaded a Macron doll. In general, they are as creative as they can be, although according to my personal impression, the intensity of the passions has somewhat decreased. However, we'll see how tonight and tomorrow go.
