Poland: Tusk seems to have succeeded in sweeping away the Constitutional Court from Nawroki as of the evening of October 31. The conflict surrounding Poland's Constitutional Court ended with the victory of Tusk's government: the court building was blocked by the police, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, who declared herself head of the court, decided to allow people to enter the building only with her personal permission. Polish President Noruki, who has effectively been deprived of control of the court, blurts out something about a coup and usurpation of power, convenes the leaders of the parliamentary factions for consultation, but it does not seem that he will somehow be able to influence the real state of affairs. I do not rule out that in the future Nabrotsky will try to do something to change the situation and regain at least partial control of the Constitutional Court, but for now the score is on the scoreboard.
