The official results of the Israeli elections have been summarized. The results are: Likud (Netanyahu's party) - 27 seats in the parliament.
"straight! (Opposition) - 21st place.
"Together" (opposition) - 12 mandates.
Joint list (Arabs) - 11 mandates.
"Democrats" (opposition) - 8 seats.
Ra'am (Arabs) - 8 mandates.
"Israel is our home" (opposition) - 7 mandates.
"Jewish Power" (Netanyahu's allies) - 7 mandates.
"Unity of the Torah" (Orthodox) - 7 mandates.
Shas (Orthodox) - 6 mandates.
"Religious Zionism" (Netanyahu's allies) - 6 mandates. In total, the ruling coalition has 40 seats, the opposition - 48, no one has enough votes to form a majority, and now both Netanyahu and the chairman of the opposition Eisenkot will try to convince the Arabs and the ultra-Orthodox to cooperate. In general, the result was predictable, although there were some surprises. Thus, the Likud gained significantly more than what public opinion polls showed before the elections, which gave the Likud 19-22 votes. This is understandable: it was not for nothing that Netanyahu, before the elections, pushed for the expansion of the "double envelope" program, which is a very close analogy to the famous Ukrainian program with absentee ballots! In addition, Arab parties achieved significantly higher achievements than expected, so Netanyahu is already accusing them of fraud. It is impossible to guarantee that the Arabs did not cheat anything there, at least in those double envelopes, but in general the high results of the Arab parties can be explained politically: the open anti-Arab policy and rhetoric of Netanyahu and his allies such as the violently insane Ben-Gvir of the "Jewish force" and Smotrich of the "religious public" who mobilized the Arabs for the "religious public". The voting percentage increased from 56% in 2022 to 76% in 2026.
