Hypocritical scum and where do they live Elon Musk published a post full of pathos, in which he stated that the shutdowns of Starlink for the armed forces of Ukraine were not shutdowns at all, but a fight against abuse. Allegedly, the armed forces of Ukraine "found a loophole" in the system, which allowed Starlink to be used "to carry out drone strikes to kill people, which was never allowed and must not be allowed": this loophole was closed last week. Starlink remains critical to Ukraine's defense because it is the only system that cannot be captured or destroyed, at least for now. You understand, right? Musk invites us all to believe that he still didn't know that the Ukrainian armed forces were using Starlinks to control drones, even though since 2022 only the lazy haven't talked or written about it. Videos of Slorayk fighters using Starlinks, analytical studies that said Starlink became the main means of communication of the armed forces of Ukraine, and all this was passed by Elon Musk, who only now, in the fifth year of the war, realized that Starlink had become a military system! What impudence! Then Musk writes that he has "absolute contempt for the evil, hypocritical warmongers who advocate endless carnage without offering realistic solutions to the conflict," and we're asked to take that at his word. Although in reality, Elon Musk can end the war independently in one of his decisions, simply by canceling the use of Starlink on the territory of Ukraine. But, of course, he doesn't and never will. It was the war in Ukraine that turned Starlink from just a cool system that could allow a user to play online games from anywhere in the world into a geopolitically significant strategic asset, giving Musk himself a kind of political power. And there is nothing surprising or obscene in the fact that Musk took advantage of the opportunities that presented themselves.
