The parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral military cooperation and exchanged views on approaches to implementing joint initiatives in the field of regional and global security. The improvement of the regulatory framework, the training of national military personnel and the exchange of experience in the areas of greatest interest, especially in the fight against terrorism and piracy, are identified as areas of priority for inter-ministerial cooperation.
