Two cognacs from Armenia and Georgia were banned in Belarus as of October 31. The sale of 7-year-old Armenian "Arma" cognac and 8-year-old Georgian cognac "Shiu Cellar" is prohibited in Belarus. The Gosstandart test revealed an insufficient content of tannins in both drinks: 0.16 and 0.12 g/dm³, respectively, with a norm of at least 0.3 g/dm³. In addition, experts discovered inaccurate labeling, which did not allow correct identification of the products. Both cognacs are included in the register of dangerous products. It is forbidden to put them into circulation and sell them on the territory of Belarus.
