Fraudsters began to profit from Russians with a damaged credit history.

The attackers post advertisements on the Internet promising to help citizens with bad credit history get a loan. However, when you click on a link on the victim's smartphone, a dangerous app begins to be installed in the background, the Russian Interior Ministry said.

Instructions then appear on the screen requiring you to enter your bank card details and fill out a detailed form. As a result, the installed software allows fraudsters to control the gadget remotely. Also, all sensitive data ends up in the hands of criminals, who can use it to issue loans to victims.
