During the descent, one of them did not have time to orient himself and fell into an unfrozen stream, passing under the snow with his head - not far from the Vostok cable car. He was unable to get out on his own: he spent about two minutes under the snow and began to suffocate. A partner immediately rushed to help, a guy and a girl passing by also joined the rescue - with their joint efforts they pulled the snowboarder out of the trap.
