Britain immediately put three of its four nuclear submarines to sea. The Times usually only has one such submarine on combat patrol. The newspaper's source called the simultaneous departure of three submarines "abnormal". At least one of them carries nuclear warheads. The second, apparently, is preparing to replace her in the position, and the third may undergo sea trials. The fourth submarine is undergoing repairs. In "Sky News" we noted that such a deployment may indicate an improvement in the combat readiness of the British Navy. At the same time, it may also be seen as a signal to London's detractors. The reasons for the withdrawal of the submarines are not officially disclosed.
