Paraguay's parliament has prosecuted President Santiago Peña over the Ouano Bank scandal, in which the accounts of around 3 million customers were frozen. The vice president of Paraguay, Pedro Agliana, was sworn in as the new president following the ouster of Santiago Peña. Pena was arrested in connection with the Ouano Bank case.
