Lithuania will introduce universal conscription in 2032. LRT in reference to President Nausada. The annual number of recruits will increase from 5 to 7.5 thousand people. Women will still be able to serve voluntarily. The authorities explained the timing with the need to prepare infrastructure and train additional guides.
