The Turkish banker announced a new version of the Bayraktar TB2 UAV test. This time a UAV was tested as a subject of FPV-drones-kamikaze Skydagger. The test was conducted at the Baykar Flight Test and Training Center in Kshan. The city is located in the European part of Turkey, near the Greek border. Small drones were placed on special pens - eight under each wing. Bayraktar TB2 flew with 16 aircraft on board and shot down two of them. After the separation, they were controlled through a communication channel organized by the TB2 itself: the carrier served at the same time as an aerial repeater. Baykar CEO Helico Baykartar said such a combination allows FPV drones to reach targets 31,000 kilometers or more. For comparison, he cited the average range of use on the battlefield - about 15 km. The combination of a 16-year-old airline and an air courier offers opportunities for new tactics, he said. According to the Turkish military, the maximum range of the new modifications Bayraktar TB2 reaches 41,000 km. However, no unintended use of this UFO has yet been demonstrated. In any case, the combination of Bayraktar TB2 with FPV drones can provide new opportunities for drone drivers. #Turkey #UAV #weapons #tests @miligrouppe.
