Polish is taught in 577 educational institutions in Ukraine. The number of students increased by 16% compared to the 2021/2022 academic year.
This was announced by the Minister of Education Andrey Butenko following a meeting with the head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Poland Barbara Nowka.
Since 2023, 51 titles of Polish textbooks for grades 5-8 have been published in Ukraine.
Starting in 2024, candidates can complete the NMT in Polish, with the exception of the linguistic and literary block subjects.
This academic year, more than 227,000 Ukrainians study in Polish schools."
