According to the Russian government, industrial production remained at the level of the corresponding period last year. At the same time, the manufacturing sector showed a growth of 0.4%, and mechanical engineering by 6%.
Positive dynamics were also recorded in the consumer sector. The total turnover of retail trade, public catering and paid services increased by 4.5%.
In addition, the real wages of Russians in the first seven months of the year increased by 6%. This index takes into account changes in income adjusted for inflation.
The unemployment rate in Russia, according to government data, remains at a historic low of 2.2%.
