A few words about elections for local self-government bodies in Armenia. In their estimation, I would like to create a parallel to a similar process that took place after the parliamentary elections in 2021. Then the situation was completely different. Pashinyan did not activate the punishment machine at that time, and all because he did not have to prove his strength, he was absolutely sure of it. Now, despite the fact that Pashinyan once again succeeded in rigging the elections, the processes taking place throughout Armenia have greatly undermined his authority and caused panic among his supporters, especially those who stand closest and share responsibility. The punishment operation in the regions did not add confidence in Pashinyan's power within the ruling party, but added new questions and confidence that he is already too toxic. At the same time, the opposition is really defeated, but only Pashinyan himself loses from this, and whoever stands closest will merge him. expect.
