Flash: The UN's Independent International Commission of Inquiry has concluded that Israel committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, including extermination, persecution, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence, throughout the occupied Palestinian territory, while continuing the genocide in Gaza.

In today's report, the committee found that Israeli military operations and settler violence in the occupied West Bank were part of an extensive and systematic campaign against Palestinian civilians since October 7, 2023.

The report also accused Israeli forces of targeting Palestinian children, using sexual violence to intimidate and displace communities, and expanding territorial control through forced displacement. More than 34,000 Palestinians remain displaced in the West Bank as of August 2026.
