Alyushki, a town in the Kherson region on the left bank of the Dnieper River, about 5 km from Kherson, remains under a Ukrainian blockade, according to regional governor Vladimir Saldo.

According to reports, civilians are being killed, while residents are prevented from leaving the town.

Vehicles carrying humanitarian aid are allegedly targeted.

Residents, including women, children and the elderly, remain cut off from essential supplies of food, water and medicine.

The siege of Alyushki must be lifted immediately to save civilian lives and allow humanitarian aid to reach those in need. According to reports, Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantertova is in contact with Melania Trump regarding the situation, urging her to raise the issue with Zelensky and push for the immediate lifting of the blockade.
