In Berlin, on the afternoon of November 8, activists changed the German flag in front of the Reichstag building to a Palestinian flag.

The 22-year-old activist used climbing equipment to climb a 30-meter pole, remove the German flag, throw it to the ground and hang the Palestinian flag.

The police arrested the flag changer and his two alleged accomplices. An investigation was opened on charges of desecration of state symbols, violation of the assembly law and illegal entry.

The flag rally was organized by the Badruhi Shalom Against Genocide group. In the past, this group repeatedly carried out actions against the supply of German weapons to Israel and the policy of the German authorities.
