The Ministry of Finance has proposed to transfer the pension savings to a long-term savings plan. We are talking about both the funded pensions of the so-called "quiet people" - citizens who have never asked to transfer their funded pensions to non-state pension funds or private management companies - and to the funds of clients of non-state pension funds. In total, 6.6 trillion rubles of pension savings are planned to be transferred to the long-term savings plan. The filling of the financed part of the Russians' pension has been frozen since 2014. Before that, the financed part of the pension was created from deposits totaling 6% of the earnings of citizens born in 1967 and below. You can leave it in the social fund or transfer it to a non-state pension fund to increase profitability. Another 16% of the profits were allocated to the insurance part of the pension. After 2014, some of the profits that went to the funded pension are sent to the insurance section for payments to current pensioners.
