The Ministry of Digital Development approved recommendations for the protection of data processing centers (DPCs) against attacks by drones and other airborne threats, writes Kommersant, which reviewed the document. They want to divide the critical data centers into three categories, depending on the consequences of a possible attack. The first category (K1) includes strategic objectives, the defeat of which could disrupt key functions of the government for a period of an hour or more. The security criteria will vary for different categories. For example, an underground location or a bunker is recommended for strategic objects, Kommersant writes. It is also proposed to reduce the visibility of data centers from the air. This will require protection that combines "physical hardening" with countermeasures against electronic and airborne threats. Open a website Mirror | telegram.
