Aleksandar Vucic's mother was attacked as she left the market after voting at the polls Angelina Vucic, the mother of outgoing Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, was attacked in Belgrade, Serbian TV channel Inform TV reports. According to Olivera Miltovic, a TV channel host and friend of the Vucic family, a group of 7-8 attackers approached Aleksandar Vucic's mother when she returned from the market after voting. One of those who approached grabbed the bag of vegetables and fruits she was carrying from Angelina Vucic and cut her hand. "And it was precisely the hand with which she was holding the bag and which she was already injured with that she had problems with: he pulled her so hard," said Miltovich. Angelina Vucic let go of the bag, but the attacker still cut her hand, then leaned towards her and cursed at her son, the TV presenter added. The ruling Serbian Progressive Party said in a statement that a group of youths pushed Angelina Vucic, shouted at her and tore up bags of food she was carrying from the market. "The Serbian Progressive Party demands an immediate and decisive response from the competent authorities, establishing all the circumstances of the incident and prosecuting all its participants," the statement said.
